Cloud Compute Storage

There are two types of cloud storage available for usage.

Image:


An image acts like a CD. You are able to boot from an image, however, no changes will be saved.

Volume

Volumes work by attaching an external hard-drive to the instance you create. Any changes made to the volume are persistent. 

You can also boot off of a volume as well as take a snapshot of it.
