Theme/Purpose
Team PEBKAC (Problem Existing Between Keyboard And Chair) is a group of undergraduate students brought together by the San Diego Supercomputer Center’s 2021 internship program. Our goal was to create a product by the end of Summer while simultaneously challenging ourselves to learn new technologies within the AGILE framework.
Product
Our app, Mind Space, aims to integrate health and wellness into the world of productivity and task management.
The health and wellness aspect of this app is reflected in a Health page that sends reminders throughout the day to the user to drink water, stretch, and meditate. It also incorporates charts that track the user's progress for these tools over time.
On a separate page, Mind Space also allows users to customize tasks that can be stored in different workspaces.
By including both aspects of health and productivity into our app, Team PEBKAC hopes to encourage users to follow lives that are not only productive but also balanced and healthy!
