SU21 Team Byte Me
Theme/Purpose
As a team, we found that commonality between us was an interest in health and fitness. However, we noticed a pertinent difficulty of coordinating and being notified about nearby fitness events of a sport of interest and appropriate level. Naturally, when the idea of creating a fitness social media application came up, we decided that it would be a great choice to contribute to a cause we all cared about and to hone our development skills with new technologies.
Product
What is your product? What problem does it solve (i.e. why does your product exist? Who is the target audience? Where can your product be accessed?
Our team noticed that there was an evident struggle to coordinate athletic events and find workout partners. As a result, we created SPORTIT, an all-in-one fitness and social networking application. Our app enables our users to create and attend different sporting events suited for their unique interests and athletic ability. In addition to creating a personalized sports profile and uploading status posts, the user can also friend, chat, and attend events with other users on the application!
