SU21 Team Squirtle Squad

Theme/Purpose

As a team, Squirtle Squad found that something a lot of our team members struggled with was staying fit and sticking to a regular workout routine. Thus, our team decided to create an application that would make it easy to find and learn how to perform exercises, while also being able to track the progress of a days workout.

Product

What is your product? What problem does it solve (i.e. why does your product exist? Who is the target audience? Where can your product be accessed?

Our app, TurtlGainz, is a fitness app designed to help people get fit, regardless of experience level.

Those with a lot of experience want to clearly be able to tell what regions of the body they are targeting with exercises and track the exercises they have completed on a given day. TurtlGainz addresses this by allowing users to select any exercise, already grouped by regions of the body, and see the exact muscles targeted by that exercise on the exercises detail page. Furthermore, users can track their workouts using a day by day checklist of exercises to be completed based on how exercises are scheduled by the user.

Less experienced users may be more worried about performing exercises properly to get the most benefit from their workouts. TurtlGainz is able to make it easy for anyone to learn how to do a new exercise by having a step by step gif of how to do an exercise, along with a list of necessary equipment, on every exercise’s details page.

TurtlGainz can be viewed by android users through expo at the following link:
