Theme/Purpose
Bulbabites is a web application that provides meal generation and meal planning features presented through an intuitive calendar-based user interface. With the ability to mark meal plans and individual recipes as favorites, users contribute to the refinement of our integrated recommender system. This recommender system utilizes a comprehensive set of factors, including dietary restrictions, ingredient preferences, body weight, caloric objectives, and fitness goals, to deliver personalized meal recommendations. Please note that the web app is optimized for desktop usage and may not be formatted for mobile devices. Thanks for checking us out!

I’m Margaret, a backend developer for Bulbasquad. Throughout development I focused on setting up our web server, building the API and maintaining the two as ideas sparked along the way. The main form of exercise I participate in is evening walks (the UCSD campus is wonderful for that).
