Theme and Purpose

As a team, we collectively wanted to create an application for college students that can truly improve their quality of life. As college students ourselves, we felt as though we understood the college student demographic and could create an application that would help them become more financially independent.

Product

Our product LOAN•E, is a financial app that helps college students track their student loans, budget their money, and also learn how to be financially responsible. For the first time in their lives, college students are becoming financially independent, and the lack of education around finances in high schools makes it so that young adults are uncertain about their financial standing. We feel as though since we are college students ourselves, we understand the needs of students at greater lengths. We can empathize and relate to the college student experience and can therefore create a financial application that is better suited for college students to use.
