SU22 Team Lasagna

Theme/Purpose

Our team wants to create an integrated and convenient platform to help people quickly find the best entertainment they like. We hope our product can help audiences to cut through the clutter and find the books, music and movies that they’ll enjoy.

Product

Median Mine is a web-app that recommends users songs, books and movies based on their answers. Our product can help users to quickly explore interesting things to read, listen and watch. Medie Mine will learn what users like to give the users the best personalized recommendations. By choosing the quiz lengths, the users will have the flexibility to decide whether they want to spend more time on in-depth analysis for the selected media category. Meanwhile, without a complicated log in system, our users could quickly get access to their recommendations without spending time to decide which email they should use to sign up. Media Mine understands the importance of saving more time for the actual fun times. Our product therefore also allows users to tell us if they don't like certain suggestions or have already seen them so that we can quickly recalculate and provide updated suggestions. We welcome all audiences to come to Media Mine and quickly find the media they truly enjoy. Like a wise recommender, Media Mine is there. Users can access our product by downloading the app files on github or searching up online.
