You can download and install the latest free version of Cyberduck by going to the Cyberduck website. At time of writing these instructions, the download link can be found on this page: https://cyberduck.io/download/
After installing Cyberduck, download the "Authentication with Keystone 3.0" profile from https://cyberduck.io/openstack/.
Open the "Openstack Swift (Keystone 3).cyberduckprofile" file on your computer to load it into Cyberduck.

Launch Cyberduck and click on the "Open Connection" button.
Select the "OpenStack Swift (Keystone 3)" connection type.
Enter your login details:
Enter "identity.cloud.sdsc.edu" in the "Server" text field.
Enter "5000" in the "Port" text field.
Enter your username in the format project:domain:username. Domain will be "default". For example, if your project name is washingtonlab and your username is gwashington@ucsd.edu, then enter washingtonlab:default:gwashington@ucsd.edu.
Enter your password in the given field.
Click Connect.
If The "Provide additional login credentials" pops up asking for the Tenant Name. Enter in the name of your Project (also known as the Tenant) then click Login.
Sharing Public Data using Cyberduck
In the SDSC Cloud dashboard (How to Access Your Cloud Files from Dashboard), navigate to the container of the objects you want to share.
Click the “Public Access” checkbox to enable sharing (Note: all objects in the container will be accessible over the internet to anyone).
In Cyberduck, right click on the object you want to share, expand the “Copy URL” menu, and choose the HTTPS URL option that starts with
https://object.cloud.sdsc.edu/
(Note: Cyberduck may also show a HTTPS URL option that starts withhttps://dentity.cloud.sdsc.edu
; do not choose this option because it will not work)The URL to the object should now be in your computer’s clipboard. Paste it into an email or other preferred method of sharing the link to the object.
