Effective March 1, 2015, minimum cloud storage allocation for existing cloud users will rise to 500 GB. Minimum allocation for new cloud users will rise to 1 TB.
SDSC Cloud storage is provided as an on-demand service.
Extended term SDSC Cloud agreements are ideal for proposals which need storage considerations for budgeting concerns, and to support the NSF Data Management Plan. This new NSF directive, effective January 18th, 2011, requires a data management plan to be submitted with each proposal. Similar data requirements may soon be added by The National Institute of Health (NIH), The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), and other federal agencies.
